Sixth Form Life

 Extra-curricular and Social Activities

Our Sixth Formers enjoy access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities that help support their CV as well as allow them to develop new skills, let off steam and have some fun! From charity zumbathons to the Ten Tors Challenge and from organising community Christmas parties to off-site team building challenges, there's always some action to get involved with. Cafe 6 and the Common Room are popular venues for socialising and brainstorming ideas for new events.

In addition, there are many opportunities to take part in course related trips and visits. In the past these have included a Humanities trip to Amsterdam, a Media trip to Paris and a History trip to London.

Students, within the sixth form, are also given the opportunity to work with other members of the college community. From tutor group mentors to subject support, students are encouraged to develop their interpersonal skills through such activities.

"I'm really glad that I moved here; I'm enjoying it much more than the last few years of school." Amelia (Year 12)
